Kawada Industries and AIST Unveil the HRP-4 Humanoid Robot Assistant by Joseph Pesta

Kawada Industries and AIST have unveiled a new humanoid robot, designed to act as a low-cost helper. The HRP-4 is five feet tall, weighs 86 lbs., and uses Intel's Pentium M CPU.
The robot can recognize faces and objects, as well as voice commands, and has a wide range of motion to allow it to carry out more complex tasks.
